We don’t often think of birds as smart, but crows are among the most intelligent birds in the world. In fact, crows and ravens are considered to be as smart as chimpanzees. They have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Crows also have the ability to use and even make tools, using objects like sticks and other plant material to help them catch food.

These birds are also very social and usually live together in family groups. Crows can even remember and recognize human faces. They sometimes hold grudges against humans they think are distrustful, and they’ve also been known to leave gifts for people who feed them.
