Forget About A Snow Man, Build a Snow Caterpillar

Here's a new twist on some winter fun.

Building a snowman can be a lot of fun, but it also can be a lot of hard work, especially for little kids.

But creating a snow caterpillar is perfect for children large and small, even for ones who like to build things all by themselves.

It's also a fun way to be creative, because you can make a snow caterpillar as long or short as you like.

Materials:

• Snow

• Small fruit pieces

• A spray bottle with food coloring

• Your imagination

What to do:

1. Make some large snowballs. You can make as many as you like, but plan on making at lease six. One should be bigger than the rest so it can be used for its head.

2. Arrange them in a line.

3. Use fruits or vegetables to make eyes and a nose.

4. Fill up a few recycled spray bottles with food coloring and water. Spray your worm with your favorite colors.
